Denise Mcguinness opened a new shop in Atlanta this week!
Having a Brick & Mortar shop in your area is a luxury. If you have two or more you are really lucky. There are many of us who do not have the benefit of a local shop and those of us that do, can take that benefit for granted. Not every shop will have everything you need or want which is what makes the phone and internet so convenient. But nothing beats being able to jump in the car and physically look at fibers, canvases and accessories. Additional benefits include being able to sit with the camaraderie of fellow stitchers, help from friendly shop keepers or taking a class every so often. If it is from a National Teacher - well then you have hit the jackpot!
